[Phpwomen] PHPWomen Merchandise: Good Idea?

Hi everyone,

I want to let you know about some ideas that have been going around
about making phpwomen.org merchandise available - so you could just
buy your phpwomen shirt, or badge, or whatever, online and get it
delivered to your door.  We have talked before about doing this via
cafepress - however the costs associated with buying from cafepress if
you are in Europe (and I guess indeed anywhere outside North America)
makes this unappealing.

The longer-term plan is that we'll have a shop full of phpwomen
branded stuff that people can buy - the funds will go into our account
and we can use these to fund our other activities, such as helping
members get to conferences, funding giveaways at conferences, and
probably other things that we haven't yet thought of.  To this end we
need to:
 a) find a suitable online retailer
 b) decide what stuff we should sell and what designs should be on them

Can anyone suggest an alternative online retailer that could print
items on-demand and ship at reasonable cost right around the world?
If so, please reply and let us know - and if you've got any experience
of these, good or bad, that would be useful to know as well.

We're also on the look out for suggestions of items, designs for those
items, and any other comments/ideas of how to make fun things
available!  One idea is to run a competition and get people to submit
design ideas - and get some prizes for the best entries, which we can
then use in the shop.  However we'd need a volunteer to make all that
happen - so if you're up for it, or have any suggestions of who could
do it, just let us know!

Please do reply, we really want to hear from you.  If everyone just
lurks, nothing will ever happen - so even just a "can we have mugs?"
message is helpful.  Let us hear you :)
